I’m not even a gamer but I would play this so hard.

and you would get sorted an junk and it would be great

Isn’t this secretly what we all wanted Pottermore to be?

Okay so my mind started rolling with this and omfg okay just hear me out

So like it starts of sort of like Sims and Skyrim, okay. You get your owl and you go do your shopping for stuff for Hogwarts, but you don’t get to see your character just yet. When you get to Hogwarts and your sorting ceremony, you get to customise how they look and what sort of traits they have. After you customise all that, you get sorted via a quiz (sort of like Pottermore) and it rolls with that and you get sorted.

Through the game, you get to study magic (obvious) and you have adventures and stuff where you have to make decisions. These decisions later decide what your Patronus and Animagus will be, as well as what your fear is for you Boggart (though this could also possibly be decided on when you’re making your character idk whatever).

So during the summer holidays, you have adventures in the Muggle world (depending on what your blood status is, which could be decided randomly) if you’re Muggle-born. If you’re Pure-Blooded, you have adventures in the wizarding world. If you’re Half-Blooded, you can do both. But here’s the thing, if you spend more time in the Muggle world, you get more information on going on’s in the Muggle world, and same goes for the Wizarding world if you spend more time in the Wizarding world. And after a period of time, like maybe in your fourth year?, you can get papers and news from whichever world you’re not in most often. And your knowledge of the events of the world, both Wizarding and Muggle alike, can factor into the gameplay somehow.

And then in your Fifth and Seventh years, you have your O.W.L.s and your N.E.W.T.s, and these factor into what career choices you’ll have later on as well. So like if you score high in Herbology and Potions, you’d have career options like Healer, Herbologist, and Potion Master.

AND THEN THE WORLD BECOMES YOURS. YOU CAN CONTINUE RELATIONSHIPS YOU HAD IN HOGWARTS AFTERWARDS, OR YOU CAN MEET NEW PEOPLE, OR WHATEVER. AND THEN IT JUST BECOMES THIS HUGE SANDBOX OF FUN AND WONDERMENT.

YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL MIND

YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!!!

I WOULD PLAY THIS SO HARD

Sims IV: Harry Potter

I’VE NEVER WANTED SOMETHING SO MUCH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. GGFFHCDGBD!!!!!!

Usually when people do that “you’re special” crap I tend to roll my eyes.

But when Mister Rogers said it…

image

That’s because Mister Rogers meant it.

Mister Rogers genuinely cared about everyone and that’s why he will forever be the best. All of my feels.

True fact: He was considered to be one of the hardest people to interview, because he would turn it around and ask questions about the interviewer with genuine interest. Asking about their children and spouses, their dreams of the future, etc.

LETS PLAY A GAME. It’s called: Who directed it TIM BURTON or HENRY SELICK

We’ll start with the 2009 Laika film Coraline based on the novel by Neil Gaiman. Do you know who directed it? Burton or Selick?

image

Did you guess yet?

image

If you guessed Henry Selick, you would be correct. Tim Burton actually had absolutely nothing to do with Coraline at all in anyway ever. Reminder: Tim Burton has NOTHING to do with Coraline. At all. But that was an easy one. Let’s go to the Walt Disney Pictures adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel, James and the Giant Peach next.

image

Think you got it? Are you sure? Better double check…

image

Oh, look. It’s Henry Selick again! Tim Burton actually interacted with this project, though only as a producer. Bet that was tricky… Next one! Let’s go to the Disney/Touchstone Pictures film Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

imageHave you guessed it correctly? Have you really?

image

Yep that’s right. Even Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas was directed by Henry Selick. Though Burton wrote the poem and created the characters in which Nightmare was based he didn’t have much interaction with the project beyond that. At the time he had already signed off to direct the film Batman Returns and did not want to be involved with the “painstakingly slow process of stop-motion animation.”

Looks like it was a trick quiz. But now you know Henry Selick, whom people rarely know of is responsible for many of the most well known stop-motion animated films. The more you know!

This isn’t even being qeued. This is just being reblogged, because some of you still don’t understand who directed Coraline.

God I bet..
I bet Sam fucking LOVES having guests. So he actually made a fucking massive breakfast for them, and he doesn’t know what these guys eat - Natasha’s tiny, so Sam makes a fruit salad, but then, maybe Steve (who’s huge) likes fruit salad too, so he ends up with a punchbowl full of fruit. But then also waffles and pancakes, and eggs… though who knows how these people eat their eggs? Sam likes scrambled, but he boils some just in case, and sets up a frying pan in case either of them wants fried. Better put some water on to boil in case someone wants poached…. While he has the eggs out, might as well make french toast. But then actually, Natasha’s european, right? They like that weird-ass continental breakfast shit, so he rolls up some little bits of ham and cheese, which looks weird without croissants and muffins and whatnot so he nips out to get some. And some juice. And some tea. And some hair straighteners.

And so Natasha eats a few bits of everything, but Steve… well Steve grew up during a time where you did not waste food - clearing your plate is ingrained in him, so. Yeah, he did have a big breakfast. He had all the breakfast.

And some hair straighteners.

I died at the hair straighteners bit. That will never not be funny
